    • ]]>     Thought I’d share a photograph I recently took of my friend and my dog. There is something interesting to me about the juxtaposition of the two. I worked on a series of self-portraits (don’t we all in college?) with my roommate’s dog. I even made a movie with her. Like a lot of little girls I was one. I was even a stage a few times as a child. Now I love being backstage and capturing little moments like this. I get a real sense of the solitary mental space she is in, right before going on stage. I love this picture. I’m thinking of blowing it up really big and putting up over the fireplace.

    'She's Lost Control' video premiere at Brooklyn Bowl, photography by Priscilla Mercedes

    Check out my latest post on Gotryke.com; it’s all about a little band called Hank & Cupcakes. They recently debuted their new video for the single “She’s Lost Control” at Brooklyn Bowl in Williamsburg. While posting stickers promoting the show, both members were arrested (and subsequently released). In true rock star fashion, Cupcakes made light of the situation by wearing the now infamous stickers on her persona. Fashionistas take note, this might be the start of something big.
